The Community Experience of Big Bass Blowout

Join us at the Massena Intake Dam on Saturday and Sunday, August 8 and 9 from 10AM-2PM for The River Village, a free community experience taking place during Big Bass Blowout weekend.

While anglers compete on the St. Lawrence River, local organizations will be offering activities, demonstrations and information for children, teens and adults.

Highlights include:
• Big Bass Blowout launches and hourly weigh-ins
• Story Walk and library activities
• Live art demonstrations and hands-on art activities
• PAL youth activities and door prizes
• Cornell Cooperative Extension educational displays
• St. Lawrence River history and gyotaku fish printing
• Scenic walking trails
• FREE hamburgers, hot dogs and coleslaw provided by Boutique Air (while supplies last)
• Water and soda available for purchase from PAL, with proceeds supporting local youth programs.

The River Village is free and open to everyone.

The River Village is an initiative of the Massena Artists Association in partnership with participating local organizations.
