For 125 years, the Massena Volunteer Fire Department has been answering the call, protecting our community, and building a legacy of service. This Saturday, July 19, 2025, they’re inviting the entire community to come together and celebrate this incredible milestone.

This family-friendly celebration is packed with activities, great food, and live music – all to honor the men and women who’ve served Massena for generations.
Fun for the Whole Family
For kids: Bounce houses and games to keep them entertained all afternoon
For adults: A 21+ beer garden, lively bed races, and the always popular Tug a Truck competition
For everyone: Browse historical photos and memorabilia, and meet the firefighters—past and present—who’ve helped shape the department’s history
Delicious Food and Drinks
Local food trucks will be serving up BBQ favorites, pizza, Italian specialties, and more to keep you fueled throughout the day.
Live Music to Set the Tone
3:00 – 5:00 PM: Norwood Brass Band – Classic brass tunes for a laid-back summer afternoon
6:00 – 9:00 PM: Six Foot Midgets – High-energy live music to keep the party going into the evening
